PAKISTAN’S GENERAL ELECTIONS 2018 ---- By Remsha Jhutt

Pakistan’s General Elections were held on 25th July, 2018. Like always, the leading party claimed that the elections were clean and clear. While other claimed about rigging. Well, this type of blame game is not a new thing for our nation. Then what’s new in 2018 Elections? That is the premier question. A question that should be answered to our foes.

As many of us knows that a hype was created by some liberal activists and political parties who knows about their position in public. This hype was about the military support behind Imran Khan. They thought, this thing might create anger and detest among people. But the consequences are beyond their line of thinking. People still casted their vote to Imran Khan and affirmed their commitment to the country and Pak Army. This time, our nation decided to choose someone else besides Bhutto, Sharif, Blour, Bhugti and Mullahs. No doubt, that this type of decision is better than to depose and kill someone. Nations are supposed to change their leader rather than to kill them publically. Such incidents points to the lack of judiciary and vulnerable establishment. And such incidents only happened when foreign authorities endure themselves in destroying country’s peace. Libya is the dominating example of such incidents. This oil rich country got independence in 1969. In 1969, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi seized the country and toppled King Idris. Ghaddafi established Libyan Arab Republic with motto “Freedom, Socialism and Unity.” Ghaddafi was a practitioner of a new political theory. He wrote GREEN BOOK on his new theory in which he talks about setting oppressed people free everywhere in the world. His new political theory was based on an idea to solve all the negations caused by capitalism and communism. Ghaddafi supported Anti-Imperialism campaigns all around the world. But this seemed unbearable to westerners. In 1986, an event of night club bombing used by US soldiers in Berlin. That incident was blamed on Libyan agents. That was the moment when Ghaddafi’s campaign was targeted with the blame of promoting terrorism.

Ghaddafi also supported Palestinians against Israelis and offered Arabs to register name at Libyan embassy to get training. Ghaddafi’s theory was in the right of third world countries. But his effort spotted as his involvement in promoting terrorism and backing terrorist groups. He was also accused of making personal property by selling oil. This blowed a rebellious wind against Ghaddafi all over the country. Rebellions from all the cities tore his banners. All rebels from civilians to military persons joined together under the flagship of National Transitional Council.

20th October, 2011 Qaddafi died and the cause of his death was either NATO aerial attack or gunshot. This bring no positive change to Libya. It’s still entangle in violence. Various military groups and political figures are in a battle to be in power. Libya is still in the state of war and the best place for international players to flourish terrorist groups.

Foreign authorities have no right to interfere in internal affairs of any state. How our nation have supported Khan can be seen on Social Media. This doesn’t mean anymore either army backed him or not. All means for now is that this nation stands with Khan and as well as with Pak Army.
So a big “SHUT UP” to all foreign media for the scum they are publishing regarding Pakistan’s General Elections 2018.
